Driver Manager

Marathon Mail Services is a well established trucking company hauling mail for over 50 years. Marathon Mail provides superior service to the United States Postal Service with terminals centrally located in Wausau and Madison, Wisconsin. We are currently seeking a full-time manager of drivers for US mail contracts in the Madison, WI area. This manager must be dependable professional able to get along well with others.

Duties include:

• Supervise 30+ drivers
• Train drivers
• Schedule drivers and monitor them daily
• Oversee daily operations of trip schedules along with equipment and review safety events in our system

Requirements:

• Computer /software experience  (Samsara) along with Excel  and Microsoft Word
• Review email from office co-workers and USPS
• Prepare/set up  driver schedules and ensure each driver has the current and next 2 weeks of schedules
• Position requires you to be on call for emergencies
• Prefer commercial driving experience
• Prefer experience with postal contracts
• Truck, trailer, shop and yard maintenance
