Job Summary:
Safely operate commercial motor vehicles, forklifts, and other material handling
and packaging equipment for preparation for shipping and delivery of printed
materials.
Major Responsibilities:
• Load, unload and transport cargo to and from specified destinations.
• Verify load to ensure conformance with shipping documents and ensure the
load is secure and evenly distributed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, refuel trucks and report any
problems to the supervisor.
• Comply with all DOT standards and regulations, including hours of service
logs, and driver’s vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
• When not transporting cargo, assist in pulling and preparing orders for
shipment, unloading trucks, working in the mailroom, staging and stocking
incoming materials.
• Submit all documentation to the Transportation Manager within the
specified time.
• Make periodic overnight deliveries.
• Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.
• $20 per hour/10-14 hours per week.
Requirements:
• Valid Class C MN Driver’s license
